Hourglass Eyeliners & Beauty Bakerie Palette Reviewed

Hourglass Eyeliners

When I first dipped into the Do It for the Graham Eyeshadow Palette from Beauty Bakerie, I couldn’t help but smile. The shades instantly reminded me of Graham crackers, with their warm, toasty tones that felt like little bites of nostalgia. It’s always fun when a palette connects you back to simple joys like snacks from childhood making the experience feel both playful and personal.

Later, I found out that Graham crackers actually have a fascinating backstory. The name Graham is always capitalized because it comes from a real person, which makes the palette name even more endearing. Knowing this gave the collection an extra layer of charm like carrying a little piece of history in your makeup bag.

Spring arrived with its mix of beauty and chaos trees blooming, sunshine breaking through, and of course, the dreaded pollen. Between sneezing fits, watery eyes, and a runny nose, my allergies made things tricky. Still, I wasn’t about to give up on eye makeup. Instead, I turned to waterproof Hourglass eyeliners, which turned out to be a true savior on days when everything else felt unpredictable.

Even in the middle of allergy season, a touch of liner or mascara Hourglass eyeliners can instantly lift my mood. On days when I look more put together, I genuinely feel happier. Makeup may be small in the grand scheme, but those little touches keep me motivated and consistent with my routine.

Lil’ Liner Haul

Recently, I hit a milestone finishing my Hourglass Solstice pencil, a golden bronze from the Hourglass Waterproof Gel Eyeliner collection. I loved it so much that it became a daily staple, and running out felt like a little achievement. Instead of simply replacing it, I decided to branch out and test more from the brand.

At Sephora, I grabbed two new shades: the hourglass 1.5 mm mechanical gel eye liner in shimmery bronze and the Hourglass mechanical gel liner in Cave, a cool matte brown. Both bring versatility to my stash, letting me switch between soft shimmer and bold definition depending on the look I want.

Hourglass Liners: Some Initial Thoughts

The Bronze 1.5 MM Liner is a dream for anyone with hooded lids. Its skinny tip makes it incredibly precise, giving subtle definition along the lash lines and water lines without crowding the eyes. Best of all, it’s long wearing, which makes it perfect for long days.

The Cave Waterproof Gel Eyeliner is a flattering cool brown with a soft cool tone. Its rich brown color reminds me of wet smooth brown pebbles in a stream unique and earthy. With very little red, it adds a gorgeous depth to the lash line. On the downside, it transfers a bit on the water line compared to the Solstice shade, but I still plan to use it until the end.

Empties Are My Jam, Man

Finishing the Solstice liner gave me that oddly satisfying sense of victory. There’s something about completely emptying out a piece of makeup that feels more rewarding than adding another product to the collection. It’s proof that you loved it enough to reach the very end. These days, I’d rather celebrate my empties than keep accumulating for every occasion. Using products fully helps me appreciate them more, and reaching those last bits and bobs feels like a reminder of why I bought them in the first place. After all, the best reviews Hourglass eyeliners get are when people like me keep coming back until the very last swipe.
